Privacy & data security

We try to balance legal clarity with operational realism, without underestimating privacy or security.

General principle

OwlRespond is designed to answer everyday questions about the services and products of customer businesses. We do not expect the service to be used for highly sensitive data unless the customer consciously accepts that risk. Even so, we work to reduce the likelihood of data leakage or unauthorized access while keeping the service practical and reliable.

No intentional inspection

  • We do not intentionally inspect, exploit, sell, or leak our customers’ conversations.
  • Limited access to small portions of data may occur only when technically necessary—for debugging, quality improvement, or support requested by the customer—and always with minimal scope.

Storage & hosting

  • Data is stored using hosting and storage providers that we consider as reliable as reasonably possible, while trying to respect applicable laws and policies within the operating scope.
  • Technical logs may be retained, and these logs may contain small fragments of operational data when needed for security, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

Sensitivity limits

We do not expect this service to be used for highly sensitive information. It is best not to share high-risk data such as full payment-card numbers, official identity documents, passwords, or sensitive health information. The intended use case is everyday questions about publicly shareable services, products, and policies.

Limits of responsibility

  • No online system is 100% risk-free.
  • Technical errors, interruptions, or unexpected behavior may happen, so the customer must evaluate whether the service fits their operating environment.
  • If you have strict compliance requirements or special internal policies, discuss them with us before deployment.
  • Any illegal, unethical, or policy-violating content remains the customer’s responsibility.
  • The customer is responsible for opt-in, consent, and compliance with channel-provider rules such as WhatsApp policies.

Third-party channels

Channels such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, and similar platforms are ultimately governed by their own infrastructure, retention rules, laws, and provider policies. OwlRespond acts as an orchestration, automation, and response layer; it does not control every internal detail of those third-party platforms.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the service evolves, as channels are added, or as compliance requirements change.

This text is a practical trust and operations note. A more formal Terms of Service and legal text can be added later for the final commercial launch, according to the country of registration and customer scope.
